Our client is seeking an accomplished JD Edwards (JDE) Application Support Analyst / Specialist on a remote 6- 12 months renewable contract opportunity.

Functional Skills / Domain Coverage

Role Description
Provide end-to-end production support and continuous improvement for Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne across finance and supply chain domains. This role owns incident resolution, minor enhancements/configuration, security administration, integration troubleshooting, change/release activities, and master data integrity to ensure stable and compliant business operations.
Key Responsibilities
1) Comprehensive Application Support (Run)
- Manage application incidents end-to-end: triage, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, resolution, and user communication.
- Provide functional support for JDE modules, ensuring minimal business disruption and adherence to SLAs.
- Document resolutions, known errors, and standard operating procedures; contribute to knowledge base.
2) Enhancement and Configuration Services (Improve)
- Deliver minor enhancements and configuration changes based on approved business requests.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications; coordinate with technical teams as needed.
- Support unit testing, system/integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for changes.
3) User Management & Security (Control)
- Administer role-based access control (RBAC), user provisioning/deprovisioning, and password/access issues.
- Support segregation of duties (SoD) compliance by assessing role conflicts and recommending mitigations.
- Maintain security documentation, audit evidence, and periodic access reviews.
4) Integration Support (Connect)
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot JDE interfaces/integrations (internal and external) and associated data exchanges.
- Diagnose integration failures (format, mapping, connectivity, sequencing) and coordinate fixes with integration/middleware teams.
- Ensure timely recovery/reprocessing and reconciliation where applicable.
5) Change & Release Management (Deploy)
- Support code and configuration migrations across environments (Dev/Test/Prod) following change controls.
- Participate in release planning, deployment checklists, cutover activities, and post-release validation.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to schedule releases and manage risk/rollback procedures.
6) Data Integrity (Trust)
- Investigate and resolve data issues such as errors, duplicates, and synchronization issues within JDE master data tables.
- Support data validation, reconciliation, and corrective actions with business data owners.
- Identify recurring data-quality patterns and recommend preventive controls.
