Summary
Our client seeks an experienced Assistant Vice President to join their dynamic team and focus on their Workday platform. This individual will play a key role in leading Workday-related initiatives, managing cross-functional projects, and drive enhancements across Workday modules. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, ability to work across multiple stakeholders and a deep understanding of Workday products and integrations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Workday-related initiatives from initial planning through execution, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and delivery timelines
- Design and implement system upgrades, enhancements, and new module rollouts within the platform
- Administer configuration, testing, and release management activities across modules such as HCM, Financials, Talent, and Recruiting
- Coordinate platform expansion efforts across multiple business units and operational areas
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate operational needs into scalable system solutions
- Orchestrate integrations between the platform and other enterprise systems to maintain accurate data flow and continuity
- Maintain day-to-day platform performance, stability, and overall user experience
- Advance governance and program oversight for strategic initiatives related to reporting optimization and system adoption
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in managing enterprise applications, with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Workday
- Strong technical skills in Workday integrations, including web services, APIs
- Implementation, consulting or business administration of Workday
- Ability to learn additional technology tools (Azure tools, Data Visualization, Data Analytics)
- Strong written, verbal and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
- Expertise in Workday product functionalities
