Position: Senior Network Engineer
Location: Cambridge, MA
(On-site 3-4 days per week, 1-2 days remote)

Job Title: Senior Network Engineer
Network Engineer SME requiring a Position of Public Trust clearance located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Must have a minimum of 10+ years of related experience as a subject matter expert in architecting complex networks. Must have experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), Palo Alto firewall, Cisco Firepower VPN, Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI), Cisco Digital Network Architecture (DNAC). IPV6, DHCP, DNS, VPN, MPLS, MTIPS, Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), routing, switching, and Out-of-Band (OOB) networks, cloud infrastructure, and firewall management.
Must possess a CCIE certification.
Must have IPV6 transition experience. Must be an expert in routing and switching.
Key Technical Skills:
1. MUST HAVE: Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) experience (Must have 10+ years of related experience managing data networks, possessing extensive skills and knowledge in network design, architecture, troubleshooting, and management.)
2. IPV4 to IPV6 transitioning experience
3. Palo Alto firewall, Cisco Firepower VPN, Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI), Cisco Digital Network Architecture (DNAC), IPV6, CISCO Equipment, Palo Alto Firewalls
4. Cloud infrastructure and firewall management
5. CISCO CCIE certification
6. Bachelor s Degree required
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Cisco ISE environment.
- Lead IPV4 to IPV6 transition
- Performs day-to-day activities required to manage data services, such as network design, implementation, and management, to include troubleshooting of complex network issues
- Provide direct support to other departments regarding network operational issues
- Performs installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrading of network infrastructure as required
- Works with all application owners and other IT stakeholders to build and support a scalable, efficient, and stable network
- Research, plan, design, and implement network technologies using industry best practices to ensure network operations meet business and technical requirements
- Assist internal business units in collecting and documenting network requirements
- Assists in developing network policies, procedures, and change management for network operations
- Work with the virtualization group to develop, configure, and manage networking requirements to ensure interoperability between both physical and virtualization environments
- Participate in Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity team
