Seeking a Systems Analyst with .NET and SQL Server skillsets who will participate in projects executing the software development life cycle and providing production support under the direction of senior team members. This role supports Energy Supply applications and requires working a hybrid schedule.

Candidates will be required to complete a technical test and provide two previous work references and a skills matrix.

Qualified candidates will be invited to an introductory virtual panel interview. If selected for the next stage, candidates will be invited to an onsite in-person panel interview.

Candidates will be required to work a hybrid schedule at Bearss Operation Center a minimum of four days a week after an initial trial period of two weeks fully onsite.

Responsibilities


  • Participate in software development life cycle activities
  • Provide production support for applications
  • Work under direction of senior team members
  • Support Energy Supply applications including:

    • WorkMan (custom ASP.NET Blazor application)
    • GenMan (custom ASP.NET Blazor application)
    • System Reliability (custom .NET application)

  • Create and review pull requests including quality gates such as documentation, screenshots, gated builds, code coverage, vulnerability assessments, best practice comments, and peer comments
  • Review pull requests submitted by other developers

Required Skills


  • Proficient with C# .NET v8, .NET Core, .NET Standard, and Visual Studio development environments (5+ years)
  • Proficient with ASP.NET Blazor (2+ years)
  • Proficient with HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS2/3 (5+ years)
  • Proficient with RESTful web services such as ASP.NET Web API (3+ years)
  • Proficient with Git (2+ years)
  • Proficient with Azure DevOps (1+ year)
  • Proficient with asynchronous request handling and partial page updates (1+ year)
  • Proficient with SQL Server T-SQL (10+ years)
  • Proficient with UML (1+ year)
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
  • Proficient in technical unit testing
  • Proficient in functional unit testing
