Network Security Analyst II – RSA Archer Specialist

Position Overview:

The Network Security Analyst II (RSA Archer Specialist) is responsible for planning, designing, implementing, configuring, and supporting enterprise RSA Archer Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solutions.

The role collaborates with Information Security, Risk Management, Compliance, and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable Archer applications that support Assessment & Authorization, Controls Assurance, Issue Management, and continuous compliance monitoring. The position operates independently on complex assignments while ensuring alignment with governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain RSA Archer applications
• Implement Assessment & Authorization (A&A), Controls Assurance, and Issues Management modules
• Develop custom Archer applications, workflows, questionnaires, and forms
• Configure role-based access controls and data relationships
• Integrate Archer with external enterprise systems using REST APIs and web services
• Implement client-side customizations using JavaScript and jQuery
• Gather and translate business requirements into technical solution designs
• Prepare technical documentation (design, testing, integration, change management)
• Troubleshoot defects and optimize application performance
• Support change management and release processes
• Provide end-user training and knowledge transfer

Required Skills:

• Expert knowledge of RSA Archer platform architecture and configuration
• Strong experience in Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) processes
• Hands-on experience with REST API integrations
• Proficiency in JavaScript and jQuery
• Experience in structured, change-controlled environments
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently on complex implementations

Preferred Skills:

• Experience supporting large enterprise or government GRC implementations
• Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, SOC, or other regulatory frameworks
• Experience integrating Archer with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms
• Background in Information Security, Risk, or Compliance teams

Required Certification:

• Archer Certified Professional (ACP)
• Level 3 Archer Certified Administrator – Expert Certification
