Job Title - Database Administrator (PostgreSQL)

Hire Type - Fulltime (Onsite)

Seeking an experienced Database Administrator with strong PostgreSQL and advanced SQL expertise.
Administer, configure, patch, upgrade, monitor, and maintain PostgreSQL databases across development, test, and production environments.
Develop, review, and optimize complex SQL queries, joins, views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
Analyze execution plans, optimize indexes, and resolve performance, locking, blocking, and transaction issues.
Manage backup/recovery, point-in-time recovery, replication, high availability, and failover processes.
Design scalable relational databases, including schemas, tables, keys, constraints, indexes, and data dictionaries.
Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models using normalization and referential integrity principles.
Develop and support ETL workflows, including data mapping, cleansing, validation, deduplication, reconciliation, and error handling.
Implement incremental loads and change-data-capture patterns for large data volumes.
Maintain database security, roles, privileges, authentication, encryption, and auditing.
Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root-cause analysis, document solutions, and collaborate with application, data, infrastructure, QA, and business teams.
