Summary

IBM ELM Data Engineer with Tableau (Remote Contract)

We are seeking a highly experienced IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) Data Engineer with strong Tableau expertise to support complex data extraction, reporting, and dashboard development initiatives.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with IBM ELM tools including DOORS Next, Engineering Workflow Management (EWM), and Engineering Test Management (ETM) and be able to transform lifecycle data into meaningful analytics and executive dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extract and analyze data from IBM ELM (DOORS Next, EWM, ETM)
• Develop structured datasets for reporting and analytics
• Design and build advanced dashboards using Tableau
• Create KPIs, performance metrics, and traceability reports
• Perform data cleansing, validation, and integration
• Automate data extraction using SQL, Python, or REST APIs (future scope)

Required Skills (Mandatory):

• Strong hands-on experience with IBM ELM
• Experience with DOORS Next, EWM, and ETM
• Advanced Tableau dashboard development
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience handling large engineering datasets

Nice to Have:

• Python scripting for automation
• REST API / OSLC knowledge
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or product engineering environments
