Summary
Title: Project Manager / Senior Change Delivery Lead (Finance Transformation)
Location: Charlotte, NC | Greensboro, NC | Raleigh, NC(Onsite)
Duration: Long Term Contract
Our client, a top-tier management consulting firm, is seeking Project Managers / Senior Change Delivery Leads for a top-tier US Bank.
These consultants will lead cross-functional finance transformation initiatives spanning systems, operations, people, and process change as the bank makes key changes to its ERP and finance technology ecosystem. The program is expected to run across a multi-year roadmap.
Key Initiatives / Platforms
- Accounting: SAP S/4HANA.
- FP&A / Planning: OneStream.
- Analytics: Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA).
- Exposure to Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery for one or more workstreams/projects from intake and chartering through planning, execution, and business readiness.
- Lead cross-functional teams across Finance, Operations, Technology, Risk/Controls, and vendors/SI, ensuring alignment to milestones and outcomes.
- Develop and manage project artifacts: charter, scope, integrated plan, RAID log, status reporting, resourcing plan, dependency plan, and financial tracking.
- Drive disciplined execution using standard project governance: steering updates, stakeholder engagement, escalation management, and decision support.
- Partner closely with Change Management and Training leads to ensure communications, training, and readiness plans are integrated into delivery.
- Ensure quality, adherence to policies/standards, and deployment readiness activities (cutover readiness, hypercare planning where applicable).
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce variation; document best practices and lessons learned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years in consulting, project/program management, or process improvement roles.
- Strong experience leading large, complex, cross-functional initiatives with heavy stakeholder integration (including senior leadership)
- Background delivering Finance/Accounting initiatives (GAAP compliance, regulatory reporting, profitability, finance operations).
- Experience with Waterfall and Agile delivery approaches.
- Excellent written/verbal communication, ability to influence, and comfort operating in ambiguity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Financial services/banking transformation experience
- Hands-on project exposure to SAP S/4HANA, OneStream, OFSAA, and/or Oracle EDM Cloud
- PMP certification and/or Six Sigma / process improvement certification
