Senior Fixed Income IT Front Office Support Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Fixed Income IT Front Office Support Analyst to join a Front Office IT team supporting Fixed Income trading desks. This role focuses on providing high-touch production support, addressing pricing and risk queries, monitoring critical market data feeds, and ensuring the smooth operation of start-of-day and intraday processes.

You will act as a key liaison between Traders, Quant/STRATS, and IT teams, serving as a trusted advisor while driving both short-term solutions and long-term system improvements.

• Provide daily Front Office support for Fixed Income trading desks, including:

  • Trade Straight-Through Processing (STP)

  • Pricing and risk queries

  • Monitoring and troubleshooting market data feeds

  • Oversight of start-of-day and intraday jobs

• Partner closely with traders to understand business needs and propose effective solutions

• Enhance and optimize existing Front Office IT processes

• Execute minor enhancement projects aligned with desk requirements

• Act as the primary bridge between Trading, Quant/STRATS, and IT on production issues

• Strong understanding of pricing models and Greeks for Rates and FX products

• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a fast-paced trading environment

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving

• Experience supporting Front Office trading systems

• Strong experience with Murex modules such as Etradepad, Livebook, Simulation, RTBS, Market Risk, and Datamart is preferred

• Comparable experience with Calypso, Summit, or Orchestrade will also be considered

• Prior Front Office IT support or development experience within a banking environment

• Solid understanding of front-to-back trade flows

• Familiarity with SDLC processes in financial institutions

• Experience with ION / eTrading platforms is a plus

• Master's degree in Quantitative Finance or a related field preferred
