V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for an Stonebranch Scheduler/Administrator for our premier client Chicago, Illinois. Education and Experience
- Experience with Stonebranch server and agent installation, configuration, and connectivity
Knowledge and Skills:
- Hands-on experience administering Stonebranch workload automation
- Strong background in batch scheduling within Mainframe and/or Midrange environments
- Knowledge of system migrations, upgrades, and platform maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate with operations, infrastructure, and application teams
- Support project-oriented scheduling work and onboarding of new applications or workflows
- Ensure adherence to scheduling standards, best practices, and change management procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale, enterprise scheduling environments
- Familiarity with change management and release processes
- Understanding of performance tuning and scheduling optimization
Work Environment
- Enterprise production environment supporting critical batch workloads
- Collaboration with Operations, Infrastructure, and Application teams.
WHAT YOULL DO: Job Responsibilities:
- Own and manage production batch scheduling across Mainframe and Midrange environments using Stonebranch
- Maintain and manage long-term and current scheduling plans to support business and operational needs
- Coordinate agent installations and updates across distributed systems
- Partner with Operations and Infrastructure teams to ensure optimal scheduling performance and system availability
- Troubleshoot and resolve scheduling, agent, and connectivity issues
- Perform Stonebranch platform administration, ensuring all system components run efficiently and reliably
- Plan and execute Stonebranch system migrations, upgrades, and enhancements
- Install, configure, and maintain Stonebranch servers and agents, including connectivity and communication between components
