Position Master Data Management (MDM) Architect
On Full-Time
Location: Dallas, TX or Seattle, WA - Onsite
Role Overview
We are seeking a senior MDM Architect to lead a strategic Master Data transformation program for a large aerospace enterprise.
The role will anchor MDM platform evaluation (Informatica vs Reltio), PoC execution, and enterprise-scale implementation design, aligned to a complex, regulated, multi-system landscape.
The architect will act as the single point of accountability for defining the MDM architecture, tooling, operating model, and delivery blueprint, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory expectations, and downstream consumption patterns.
Key Responsibilities
1. MDM Strategy, Evaluation & PoC Leadership
- Lead platform evaluation (Informatica MDM, Reltio) aligned to enterprise requirements
- Define and execute PoC frameworks (data ingestion, match-merge, stewardship workflows)
- Provide recommendation backed by technical and business fitment analysis
- Establish decision frameworks for platform selection
2. Enterprise MDM Architecture Design
- Define target-state MDM architecture (real-time, API-driven, multi-domain)
- Design integration patterns across ERP, PLM, CRM, Supplier & analytics ecosystems
- Establish canonical data model, golden record strategy, hierarchy design
- Define data ingestion, distribution, and synchronization patterns (batch, delta, real-time)
3. Implementation Blueprint & Delivery Leadership
- Create end-to-end implementation roadmap (domain-wise sequencing: Supplier → Product → Customer)
- Define reusable delivery templates (mappings, DQ rules, workflows, APIs)
- Lead technical governance, design reviews, and implementation oversight
- Establish CI/CD, environments, and Dev-Test-Prod strategy
4. Data Governance & Regulatory Alignment
- Embed data ownership, stewardship, and governance workflows into MDM
- Ensure traceability, lineage, and auditability aligned to regulated environments
- Enable continuous data quality monitoring and exception management
- Align MDM outputs with compliance needs (data security, access control, audit readiness)
5. Operating Model & Stakeholder Leadership
- Define MDM Operating Model (CoE + POD structure)
- Establish roles: Data Owners, Stewards, Architects, Governance councils
- Act as primary interface with business and technology stakeholders
- Drive workshops, design sessions, and executive alignments
Mandatory Skills & Experience
MDM Platform Expertise
- Deep hands-on experience in Informatica MDM (IDMC / Multidomain)
- Strong experience in Reltio MDM (cloud-native, API-driven architecture)
- Prior experience in tool evaluation / selection programs
- At least More than 6+ plus years of experience in solutioning & design of complex Multi-Domain Master Data Management programs
Architecture & Integration Depth
- Expertise in multi-domain MDM (Customer, Product, Supplier)
- Strong experience in API-led integrations, event-driven architecture
- Understanding of ERP, PLM, CRM, Data Lake/Data Mesh ecosystems
Data & Governance
- Strong background in data modeling, matching/merging, survivorship rules
- Experience with data quality frameworks, stewardship workflows
- Understanding of data governance, metadata, lineage, and audit controls
Regulated Industry Exposure (Highly Preferred)
- Experience in aerospace / manufacturing / telecom / financial services
- Exposure to environments requiring strict data traceability and compliance
Leadership & Consulting Traits
- Proven ability to lead MDM programs from strategy to execution
- Strong stakeholder management across business and IT
- Experience in driving workshops, POCs, and executive decision forums
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical architecture

- Experience with AI/ML-driven data quality or MDM augmentation
