Director/Manager of Transmission Engineering

Beacon Hill is helping one of our clients hire for a Director/Manager level position in the Energy Sector. This role will focus on building out a team of engineers (electricial, mechanical, civil, etc) to design/ work on Transmission Line projects throughout the country.   Engineering leadership role responsible for managing multiple design teams delivering high-voltage transmission line projects, ensuring technical quality, schedule alignment, and project performance across complex transmission programs.

  Leads the engineering execution and quality control of transmission line design (500kV and below), with hands-on expertise in tools such as PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and TOWER, and coordination with construction teams on transmission line projects.

  Builds and develops a growing transmission line engineering team through mentoring, recruiting, training, and workload planning to support expanding transmission infrastructure initiatives.

  Supports project growth and long-term partnerships by preparing technical proposals, defining scopes of work for transmission line projects, and serving as a key point of contact for engineering and project discussions.
