Hansen Talent Group is hiring an IT Project Manager to support strategic technology initiatives for a major organization. This role will partner closely with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams to successfully deliver multiple high-priority IT projects that support critical operations and services.
This position is ideal for a project management professional who enjoys balancing strategic oversight with hands-on involvement, building strong stakeholder relationships, and driving projects from concept through implementation. What You''ll Do
• Lead multiple concurrent IT projects from initiation through implementation and project closure
• Develop business requirements in partnership with stakeholders and subject matter experts
• Create and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with a high level of quality
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify opportunities to improve execution and outcomes
• Prepare and deliver project status reports, executive summaries, and strategic updates for leadership
• Facilitate meetings with stakeholders, business teams, technical resources, vendors, and leadership
• Collaborate with internal and external organizations to gather information required for project planning and execution
• Develop and maintain project management documentation, metrics, reports, and governance artifacts
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate activities involving outsourced resources when applicable
• Drive stakeholder engagement and build consensus among groups with competing priorities and objectives
• Support portfolio and program management activities as needed
• Serve as a trusted advisor to project stakeholders by understanding both the business and technical aspects of the initiatives being managed
• Perform additional project management and operational support duties as assigned
What You''ll Need
• 3+ years of project management experience
• Strong project management experience within a healthcare, healthcare insurance, or healthcare technology environment
• Experience developing and managing project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and timelines
• Experience with project risk management, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices
• Experience creating project documentation, reports, status updates, and executive presentations
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage multiple high-profile, high-priority projects simultaneously
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively engage with technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and executive leadership
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
• Experience using project collaboration and documentation tools such as SharePoint and Visio
• Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
