Job Details

Responsibilities -

+ Lead electrical design efforts on medium to large mission critical and data center projects
+ Collaborate closely with clients, internal design teams, and contractors
+ Oversee and mentor junior engineers and support their professional development
+ Develop and review electrical system designs including power distribution and redundancy strategies
+ Prepare fee proposals and assist with project budgeting and financial tracking
+ Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and client requirements
+ Support project execution from concept through construction

Qualifications -

+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
+ Licensed Professional Engineer required
+ 16 or more years of progressive electrical engineering experience
+ Proven experience leading mission critical or data center projects
+ Strong knowledge of power distribution systems including UPS, generators, medium voltage switchgear, and transfer switches
+ Experience with electrical system topologies such as Tier III, Tier IV, N plus 1, and 2N
+ Familiarity with codes and standards including NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and ANSI TIA
+ Experience with SCADA systems and automated control of critical equipment
+ Strong communication and leadership skills
+ Ability to mentor and develop junior staff
+ U.S. Citizenship required
+ Ability to obtain or hold a TS SCI clearance

Preferred:

+ Experience with ETAP or SKM
+ Revit experience, especially in complex power system design
