Job Title: Product QA (Manager, Product Integrity & Social Compliance Analyst)
Location: New York NY (M-TH in-office, Fri work from home)
Duration: 6 months contract
Pay Rate: $25/hr. to $28/hr. on W2

 
Overview
We are seeking a Manager, Product Integrity & Social Compliance Analyst to support and scale our product testing and compliance program. This role will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards while partnering closely with internal teams, vendors, and third-party laboratories.
This is a hands-on role within a growing team, ideal for someone who thrives in building processes, driving product quality, and working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
 
Key Responsibilities
Product Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Oversee product testing programs related to product safety, physical properties, and regulatory compliance
  • Ensure all products meet required quality standards, care codes, and performance expectations
  • Investigate failed test results, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions
  • Monitor ongoing testing results to identify trends and areas for improvement
Vendor Management & Compliance
  • Onboard and educate vendors on product integrity, quality standards, and compliance requirements
  • Partner with vendors to resolve issues related to testing, inspections, and product performance
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to company and regulatory standards
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with teams across Sourcing, Production, Design, Legal, and Merchandising to address compliance and quality issues
  • Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on product integrity and regulatory requirements
  • Support internal teams with compliance-related insights and best practices
Regulatory Compliance
  • Stay current on U.S. and global product safety regulations (e.g., CPSC, CPSIA, FTC, REACH, Prop 65)
  • Ensure all products meet applicable regulatory and safety requirements
  • Provide regulatory guidance and support across teams
Laboratory & Testing Management
  • Collaborate with third-party laboratories to ensure testing is conducted per required protocols and timelines
  • Review and track testing results, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards
Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Track and analyze testing results, inspection failures, and vendor performance
  • Generate reports and insights to support vendor evaluation and continuous improvement initiatives
 
Required Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in Product Integrity, Quality Assurance, or Product Testing
  • Background in fashion, apparel, jewelry, or consumer products
  • Knowledge of product safety, compliance standards, and testing processes
  • Experience working with vendors and cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
 
Preferred
  • Experience working with third-party testing laboratories
  • Exposure to international or EU compliance standards
  • Familiarity with Restricted Substances Lists (RSL) and product testing protocols
  • Understanding of apparel manufacturing processes
