Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our ever-evolving payment processing team and help us unleash the potential of every business.

This position is hybrid 3-days per week in our Cincinnati, OH office. This position is not eligible for remote work

What you'll own as the Software Engineer

  • Analyze requirements and design that's robust, scalable with ease of maintenance

  • Development of batch settlement applications that assess pricing, generate settlement, reports and general ledgers.

  • Support the unit and integration testing with various other systems.

  • Mastery of multiple programming languages and technologies, as required.

  • Collaboration with product and design teams to deliver high-quality documents by incorporating feedback to continuously improve content and presentation.

  • Active participation in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure continuous improvement and effective team collaboration.

  • Interacting with product managers and users to define requirements and modifications

  • Participating in software design meetings to determine technical requirements.

What you'll bring

  • A bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline and 3+ years of experience or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

  • Mastery of 1 or more programming languages; willingness and ability to learn and master both new and legacy technologies.

  • Experience with Agile development principles.

  • Experience with end-to-end systems development life cycles and standards.

  • Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines.

  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team, and time management skills

  • Positive outlook, strong work ethic, and responsiveness to internal and external clients and contacts.

It's a bonus if you have

  • SAS, REXX, assembler or API experience.
