Application Project Manager – Enterprise Systems Integration (Manufacturing)
Top Consulting is seeking an experienced Application Project Manager to lead complex, large-scale system integration initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This role will manage the delivery of enterprise applications (ERP, MES, PLM, WMS, etc.) and ensure seamless integration across production, supply chain, and business systems.
Responsibilities:
o Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise application and system integration projects in a manufacturing environment
o Manage integrations across platforms such as ERP, MES, CRM, PLM, and third-party/vendor systems
o Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations
o Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, operations, engineering, supply chain, and external vendors
o Drive requirements gathering, solution design alignment, and business process mapping
o Oversee data migration, system interfaces, APIs, and middleware integrations
o Identify and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and integration challenges
o Ensure alignment with manufacturing processes such as production planning, shop floor execution, quality management, and inventory control
o Facilitate stakeholder communication, including executive-level reporting and status updates
o Ensure adherence to SDLC, change management, and governance standards
o Support testing phases (SIT, UAT), deployment, and post-go-live stabilization
Qualifications
o Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field
o 5–10+ years of project management experience, with a focus on application delivery and system integrations
o Proven experience managing large-scale enterprise system implementations in manufacturing
o Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex, Microsoft Dynamics) and integrations with MES or shop floor systems
o Experience with integration technologies (APIs, middleware, EDI, ETL tools)
o Solid understanding of manufacturing processes (discrete or process manufacturing)
o Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
o Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
o Experience with manufacturing-focused platforms such as Plex, SAP S/4HANA, or Rockwell FactoryTalk
o Familiarity with Industry 4.0, IoT integrations, or smart factory initiatives
o PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification
o Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and hybrid integrations
