Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer III to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Safer Payments, full lifecycle development, object-oriented design, and software quality and a proven ability to deliver secure, performant, and maintainable applications across the stack.
Responsibilities:
- Lead full lifecycle application development from design through deployment and support.
- Design, code, and debug applications in multiple programming languages.
- Perform software, code, and requirements analysis including reviews and metrics.
- Conduct system risk and software reliability analysis to ensure resilience.
- Apply Object-Oriented Analysis and Design and create software models and simulations.
- Design front-end graphical user interfaces with attention to usability and accessibility.
- Plan and execute software testing and quality assurance activities.
- Tune performance, improve balance, enhance usability, and implement automation.
- Support, maintain, and document software functionality and operations.
- Integrate new software with existing systems and services.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies for implementation.
- Ensure compliance with coding, security, and operational standards.
- Implement localization and globalization features where required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrated Safer Payments experience.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming and software design principles.
- Hands-on experience with requirements analysis, code reviews, testing, and QA.
- Ability to design and optimize front-end user interfaces and integrate with back-end services.
- Experience with performance tuning, automation, and standards compliance.
- Undergraduate degree in computer engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with software modeling and simulation tools.
- Background in system risk and reliability engineering.
