Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Remote

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong experience in modern software delivery practices, CI/CD pipeline management, and infrastructure automation. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enabling efficient development workflows, ensuring high-quality deployments, and maintaining scalable, secure infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support the adoption of trunk-based development, including migration from traditional branching strategies such as GitFlow.
Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI and Harness.
Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Podman, and orchestrate deployments on Kubernetes.
Develop and integrate automated testing frameworks, including JUnit, Karma, Jasmine, and Playwright, into CI/CD workflows.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration, including:
Virtual Machines (VMs)
Load Balancers
SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle management
Collaborate with development teams to improve build, release, and deployment processes.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across environments.
Ensure best practices in security, scalability, and reliability are followed.

Required Skills & Experience

Hands-on experience with trunk-based development and migrating from GitFlow.
Strong expertise in CI/CD tools, particularly GitLab and Harness.
Solid experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes).
Experience implementing and maintaining automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Karma, Jasmine, Playwright).
Proven experience in infrastructure automation, including VMs, load balancers, and certificate management.
Familiarity with scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, Python, or similar).
Understanding of DevOps principles, version control, and agile methodologies.
