Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Systems & Cybersecurity Compliance Manager to join our team in Toledo, Ohio. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in cybersecurity and IT systems management, particularly in manufacturing or government contractor environments. The position involves implementing and overseeing compliance measures, securing IT infrastructure, and ensuring adherence to industry standards.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity and compliance controls, including NIST Level 1 & 2 and 800-171 frameworks.
Manage and secure IT systems, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and endpoint security tools.
Oversee network infrastructure, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud environments such as Microsoft 365 Gov High and Azure Gov.
Configure and utilize Splunk Enterprise or Splunk Cloud for security monitoring, event analysis, and dashboard creation.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and monitor systems to ensure robust security measures are in place.
Provide incident reporting and ensure compliance with government data protection standards.
Support mixed IT environments, including engineering systems, test labs, and production networks.
Collaborate with teams to enhance system security and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and implement best practices to protect sensitive data.
Train and mentor staff on cybersecurity protocols and compliance requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 5-8 years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 3 years in cybersecurity or compliance roles.
Expertise in implementing NIST Level 1 & 2 and 800-171 controls.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and endpoint security.
Hands-on experience managing network infrastructure, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud platforms.
Proficiency in using Splunk Enterprise or Splunk Cloud for monitoring and security analysis.
Familiarity with vulnerability management tools and system monitoring platforms.
Understanding of government data protection standards and incident reporting protocols.
