Description: Job Title: Maintenance Technician - LCD & Smart Glass Manufacturing
Location: Onsite inTomah, WI

Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician supports the Smart Glass manufacturing line by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting highly automated production equipment, and maintaining spare parts inventory. This role is critical to ensuring maximum equipment uptime, operational efficiency, product quality, and a safe working environment within a cleanroom manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair highly automated manufacturing equipment
- Perform routine and specialized preventive maintenance on production and assembly systems
- Support equipment uptime through rapid diagnostics and corrective actions
- Maintain and document maintenance activities (logbooks, inspections, walk-throughs)
- Work in a cleanroom environment following all safety and quality protocols
- Identify and recommend equipment modifications to improve efficiency and product quality
- Participate in training, continuous improvement, and Lean initiatives
- Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams
- Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment
- Complete additional projects and assignments as directed by leadership

Qualifications: - Associate degree (2-year) in a maintenance-related field or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues
- Working knowledge of:
- Pneumatics
- Industrial electrical systems
- Controls systems
- Mechanical processes
- Ability to read and interpret equipment interfaces and technical documentation
- Proficient in using computer software and maintenance management systems
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-based environment
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in electronics, glass manufacturing, or precision manufacturing
- Cleanroom manufacturing experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience documenting maintenance activities and drafting reports
