Summary

Account Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development by identifying, qualifying, and pursuing sales opportunities within the Life Sciences sector.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and business growth objectives.
  • Sell engineering service offerings, including software implementation, industrial automation, smart manufacturing solutions, operational technology (OT), digital engineering, and manufacturing transformation services.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, lead qualification, solution positioning, proposal development, contract negotiations, and deal closure.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including Plant Managers, Manufacturing Directors, Engineering Leaders, Digital Transformation Executives, Operations Leaders, and Procurement teams.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, presales consultants, engineering teams, and delivery organizations to develop tailored customer solutions.
  • Understand customer business challenges and recommend appropriate engineering service solutions that improve operational efficiency, productivity, compliance, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, and customer engagement.
  • Prepare and deliver impactful presentations, proposals, and executive-level business discussions.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, competitive landscape, emerging technologies, and market developments within Life Sciences manufacturing.
  • Represent the organization at customer meetings, conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Accurately maintain sales forecasts, pipeline activity, and customer information using CRM tools.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas and performance objectives.
