Vaco is assisting our client for a full time, direct placement Databricks Engineer role in Charlotte, NC. Ideally a candidate that is local to Charlotte as this role is hybrid on-site and must be W2 with no sponsorship as this is a full time role.
Would also consider a strong Databricks connectivity engineer with experience in the HVAC/manufacturing industry that is interested in relocating
Required skills:
- 5–10+ years in data engineering / pipeline engineering
- Deep hands-on experience with:
- Databricks (required)
- PySpark
- Delta Lake
- Proven experience building:
- Data pipelines across multiple disconnected systems
- Scalable ingestion frameworks
- Manufacturing or HVAC industry experience
- Design and implement robust ingestion pipelines across highly fragmented environments (multiple ERPs, isolated networks, legacy systems)
- Build connectivity across:
- ERP systems (e.g., Great Plains, SAP, Infor, custom systems)
- APIs, flat files, streaming sources, and third-party platforms
