Summary

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Business Analyst to support a County's Cybersecurity Program and Documentation Recovery initiative. This role will focus on identifying documentation gaps, capturing institutional knowledge, analyzing IT processes, and developing structured documentation requirements to improve operational resilience, knowledge transfer, and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, and workshops with IT teams and County stakeholders to capture operational knowledge and requirements.
  • Inventory and assess existing technical, operational, cybersecurity, infrastructure, application, system, and disaster recovery documentation.
  • Analyze and document current-state business processes, IT workflows, roles, responsibilities, system dependencies, handoffs, and operational pain points.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of demonstrated Business Analysis experience in complex IT or technology environments.
  • Strong expertise in requirements elicitation, stakeholder interviews, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Visio for business process mapping, workflow documentation, and technical or operational diagrams.
