IAM SailPoint Administrator

Location: Chicago, IL (Local candidates only)
Employment Type: Full-Time / Onsite

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced IAM SailPoint Administrator to support and manage Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) platforms, primarily SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) and Non-Employee Risk Management (NERM). This role will be responsible for identity lifecycle management, access governance, provisioning workflows, certification campaigns, entitlement administration, and directory services support.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SailPoint administration, identity governance, Active Directory, Entra ID, access certifications, and IAM best practices in a regulated environment.

Required Qualifications

Experience

• 3-5+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) or Identity Governance & Administration (IGA).
• Hands-on experience with:
  • SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC)
  • SailPoint Non-Employee Risk Management (NERM)
  • Identity lifecycle management (Joiner, Mover, Leaver processes)
  • Access governance, role management, and certification campaigns
• Experience administering:
  • Active Directory
  • Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • LDAP
  • SCIM
  • SSO and MFA solutions
• Strong knowledge of:
  • RBAC and ABAC models
  • Segregation of Duties (SoD)
  • Identity governance principles
  • IAM best practices

Technical Skills

• SailPoint configuration and administration
• Provisioning workflow management
• Identity Profiles, Access Profiles, Roles, and Policies
• SailPoint Rules (Provisioning, Aggregation, Correlation)
• Connector troubleshooting and identity synchronization
• Application onboarding and entitlement management
• REST APIs and integrations
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related discipline
  • OR equivalent professional experience

Key Responsibilities

SailPoint Administration

• Administer and maintain SailPoint ISC platform configurations.
• Configure Identity Profiles, Access Profiles, Roles, Policies, and Lifecycle Events.
• Support automated provisioning and deprovisioning workflows.
• Manage Joiner-Mover-Leaver processes.
• Maintain identity correlation and attribute mapping logic.
• Monitor and resolve provisioning failures and connector issues.
• Support integrations with Active Directory, Entra ID, HRIS systems, Epic, FreshService, and other enterprise applications.
• Maintain technical and operational documentation.

Access Governance

• Manage entitlement governance and access review campaigns.
• Support certification processes and remediation activities.
• Participate in identity audits and compliance initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to security controls and governance standards.

Application Onboarding & Integration

• Onboard applications into SailPoint ISC.
• Perform entitlement discovery and schema reviews.
• Define access roles and governance policies alongside application owners.
• Support testing and validation for:
  • SAML
  • OAuth2
  • OIDC
  • SCIM
  • REST-based integrations

Preferred Qualifications

• SailPoint Identity Security Administrator Certification.
• Experience with:
  • Epic
  • Cerner
  • Healthcare identity environments
• Experience with:
  • AWS IAM
  • Google Cloud IAM
  • Microsoft Entra ID
• PowerShell scripting experience.
• Postman experience.
• Knowledge of:
  • HIPAA
  • HITECH
  • NIST
  • Zero Trust Security Architecture
• Experience supporting healthcare or other highly regulated industries.
