Position Overview
seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer to design, develop, customize, and support enterprise applications built on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power Platform ecosystems. The selected consultant will work with business stakeholders, project managers, business analysts, and technical teams to deliver secure, scalable, and innovative business solutions that modernize agency operations and improve business processes.
This role requires strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 customization, Power Platform development, enterprise integrations, and application lifecycle management within an Agile development environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, customize, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications.
- Configure Dynamics 365 entities, forms, dashboards, business process flows, business rules, workflows, and security roles.
- Develop custom functionality using C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Microsoft Power Platform.
- Build and maintain Model-Driven Apps and Canvas Apps using Microsoft Power Apps.
- Develop workflow automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate.
- Create executive dashboards, operational reports, and analytics using Microsoft Power BI.
- Develop custom plugins, workflow extensions, APIs, and web resources.
- Configure Microsoft Dataverse tables, relationships, security models, and validation rules.
- Develop integrations with internal and external systems using REST APIs, SOAP services, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Microsoft Graph.
- Support application architecture, technical design, code reviews, and solution planning.
- Perform data migration, data conversion, and enterprise system integrations.
- Maintain Development, Test, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
- Manage deployments using Azure DevOps, Git repositories, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and provide ongoing support.
- Produce technical documentation, deployment documentation, and architecture diagrams.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
- Ensure solutions comply with security, accessibility, and State technology standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience developing Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience developing applications using Microsoft Power Platform.
- Experience configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 environments.
- Experience developing custom plugins, workflows, integrations, and extensions.
- Experience building Power Apps and Power Automate solutions.
- Experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and relational database design.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems using REST APIs and web services.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Certification.
- Microsoft Power Platform Certification.
- Microsoft Azure Certification.
- Experience supporting grants management, licensing, permitting, financial systems, or case management applications.
- Experience working with State Government or other public sector organizations.
- Experience supporting enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience implementing Azure DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Experience working in cloud-hosted Microsoft environments.
