We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, from planning and design to coordination and control. You will ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment and is looking to take their career to the next level.

*Must be local in the Pittsburgh area*
*Must have experience in commercial vertical construction*

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they meet required quality standards, budget constraints, and schedule deadlines.
2. Negotiate contracts with architects, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to achieve the best possible terms.
3. Develop and manage project schedules and timelines, ensuring that all milestones are met.
4. Implement effective cost control measures to ensure project profitability.
5. Conduct site management activities, including site inspections, safety audits, and coordination of construction activities.
6. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
7. Create detailed project estimates and budgets, and monitor project expenditures.
8. Implement quality control programs to ensure compliance with construction standards and regulations.
9. Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure project success.
10. Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management in the construction industry.
3. Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
4. Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to secure favorable terms.
5. Expertise in construction management software and tools.
6. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
7. Strong knowledge of construction estimating and budgeting.
8. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
9. Strong leadership and team management skills.
10. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
11. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
12. Knowledge of construction safety regulations and quality control procedures.
13. Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
14. Professional certification in project management (PMP) or construction management (CCM) is a plus.
