Summary
Role: Mainframe Automation Engineer
Location: Remote

Required Professional and Technical Expertise
- 5+ years working in a mainframe operations environment providing an operational, service, consultancy, or support role.
- Demonstrated strong written and communication skills.
- Ability to use TSO and ISPF.
- JCL skills.
- Ability to write REXX and working knowledge of the System Automation Policy Database (PDB).
- Experience in z/OS Automation Migration Projects.
Product Experience
- Candidates should have implementation and operational experience with:
- NetView for z/OS
- System Automation for z/OS
- Candidates should also have the willingness to expand skills across related automation products.
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise
Knowledge of other software, including:

- System operation
- Configuration and automation
- z/OS startup and shutdown processes
- SMP/E
- Knowledge of products that compete with the products listed above.
- Experience with fully automated system configurations.
