Summary

Position Summary:

 

  • Monitor, support, and maintain the global enterprise network infrastructure, including WAN, LAN, WLAN, RVPN, Internet, and Cloud connectivity.
  • Respond to network incidents, outages, and performance issues ensuring quick recovery and minimal impact on business operations, while proactively notifying customers and communicating business impact.
  • Perform detailed root cause analysis and drive long-term corrective actions in collaboration with network engineering and vendor teams.
  • Execute change management activities with proper planning, risk assessment and validation - including configuration, maintenance, and software upgrades (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, load balancers, WAN accelerators) - in coordination with site IT teams for predictable results.
  • Analyze and optimize network performance using tools such as SevOne, Grafana, SolarWinds, or NetMRI, identifying areas for improvement and capacity planning.
  • Coordinate with service providers and vendors to track and resolve connectivity and performance issues, ensuring SLA compliance
  • Support and validate new deployments, projects and technology integrations in collaboration with Network Engineering, Security and Infrastructure teams.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of network monitoring, alerting, and automation processes to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot complex routing protocols and technologies, including OSPF and BGP, across enterprise and cloud environments.
  • Manage the installation, renewal, and validation of SSL/TLS certificates for network management access on all supported devices and for application load balancer virtual IPs (VIPs).
  • Implement and validate firewall security policies and NAT rules in accordance with customer requirements, security standards, support IPSec VPN tunnels between the enterprise network and third-party vendors or spoke sites, including testing, documentation, and ongoing operational support and approved change processes.
  • Perform regular and planned failover testing activities to validate network resiliency and high-availability designs, ensuring minimal service disruption.
