Summary

IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide.

 

Our client is looking for a Security Analyst responsible for supporting a wide range of compliance and cybersecurity functions.

 

Tasks:

·        Support cybersecurity policy execution, operational standards, and governance activities (60%)

·        Monitor, detect, respond to, and investigate cybersecurity threats across client’s environment (20%)

·        Contribute to the configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management of security technologies (15%)

·        Maintain current expertise in cybersecurity tools, trends, and techniques. 5%

 

 

NOTE: Candidates must be current WI Residents. No relocation allowed. 100% remote after training, but occasional reporting to office in Madison may be required.

 

 

 

Location: Madison, WI  

Contract: 1+ years

 

Skills Required:

·       2 years - Understanding of NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST RMF, and other common security standards

·       2 years - Experience and working knowledge of common security frameworks and control theories to include current applicable NIST, CJIS, and ISO standards

·       2 years - Experience with creating and leading discussions around the implementation and artifact collection of NIST 800-53 controls

·       2 years - Incident Response Forensics and Remediation (i.e. Crowdstrike, Sandbox evaluation & detonation, Phish evaluation, Malicious Website and Malicious Intent Identification)

 

Skills Desired – A plus to have:

·       Capability to tune and optimize SIEM rules and detection logic to reduce noise and improve fidelity

·       Experience supporting endpoint, network, and cloud-based security controls in large-scale environments

·       Demonstrated ability to adapt to emerging threats, technologies, and evolving operational needs.
