Position Overview

IRG Client is seeking a highly motivated Senior SQL Server DBA / .NET Applications Developer to support mission-critical enterprise systems . This role is responsible for the design, development, integration, performance optimization, and ongoing support of large-scale web applications and data platforms .This position combines advanced SQL Server Database Administration, data engineering, interface integration, reporting/analytics, and .NET application development responsibilities. The candidate will serve as the primary DBA for  agency while also leading data governance, interface validation, performance monitoring, and Power BI reporting initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Primary SQL Server DBA for Child Support applications
• Design, develop, and support enterprise-scale web and data applications using the Microsoft SQL Server and .NET platform
• Lead data extraction, transformation, profiling, cleansing, and normalization efforts following data governance standards
• Perform deep data analysis and identify data quality issues, patterns, and optimization opportunities
• Design, test, validate, and maintain system interfaces for data exchange with state agencies and federal partners
• Monitor and troubleshoot nightly batch processes and resolve interface production issues
• Act as liaison between Child Support team, vendor partners, and interface stakeholders
• Review code, database objects, and technical designs for performance, scalability, and quality
• Monitor database growth and recommend long-term performance and maintenance strategies
• Design and develop advanced data analysis and reporting dashboards using Microsoft Power BI
• Support vendor oversight and monitor System Development Contractor performance related to applications and operations
• Develop and maintain data ownership, stewardship metadata, and enterprise data architecture standards
• Ensure compliance with data retention, audit, and regulatory requirements
• Provide technical specifications and support for interface object builds
• Communicate and promote corporate data governance policies, standards, and best practices
• Conduct training and awareness related to data ownership and information architecture

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience as a SQL DBA
• 5+ years of large system architecture
• Large scale production system implementation experience
• Experience overseeing work of Software Development Vendors
• MS SQL Server
• TFS (Team Foundation Server)
• Microsoft Visual Studio 2022
• C#, ASP.net, and/or .NET
• Powershell

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Child Support Enforcement system design and development
• Experience with PowerBI
