Position Overview

• The Mission Synchronization Senior Mission Lead will serve as the senior mission integrator and subject-matter expert (SME) supporting [CLIENT] cybersecurity mitigation implementation efforts.
• This position requires a highly experienced cybersecurity and defense mission professional with comprehensive knowledge of military operations, defense acquisition, cybersecurity, weapons systems, systems engineering, and program execution.
• The Senior Mission Lead will provide strategic and technical guidance to senior leadership, helping translate mission priorities into actionable cybersecurity mitigation strategies, technical requirements, and coordinated implementation activities.
• The successful candidate must possess firsthand experience working within defense acquisition organizations, program offices, fielded or developing weapons systems, and cybersecurity operations.
• The role requires the ability to connect senior leadership objectives with practical implementation considerations, including acquisition timelines, operational risks, cybersecurity requirements, technical dependencies, and mission readiness.
• The Senior Mission Lead will also shape executive briefings, decision forums, cross-organizational engagements, and governance processes while working closely with an Action Officer responsible for day-to-day coordination, meeting logistics, staff taskers, action tracking, and requirements routing.

Education & Experience Requirements

Candidates must meet one of the following qualification pathways:

• Bachelor's Degree in a Specialized Field 7+ Years
• Bachelor's Degree in Any Field 9+ Years of Specialized Experience

In addition to meeting the education and experience criteria, candidates must demonstrate the senior-level cybersecurity, mission leadership, defense acquisition, and operational experience.
