A bit about us:The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and facility equipment in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role supports production uptime by performing preventive maintenance, responding to equipment failures, and collaborating with operations to minimize downtime while ensuring a safe and efficient workplace.

Job DetailsQualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (aluminum, metals, extrusion, casting, or similar heavy industry preferred)
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, with working experience in electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment and systems under minimal supervision
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics and use precision measuring tools
- Commitment to safe work practices and teamwork
Preferred:
- Experience in aluminum manufacturing or heavy industrial environments
- Basic PLC troubleshooting experience (ladder logic a plus)
- Welding or fabrication experience (MIG / TIG / stick)
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and lean / continuous improvement practices
