Job Descriptions:



#1

Welding / Fabrication Technician

Work independently or with a team creating accurate, working prototype vehicles.

Candidates will be assigned to Weld Group, Assembly Group, or Paint Group depending upon experience of the candidate and business need.

Successful Candidates will have:

Strong mechanical aptitude.

Ambition to be productive, engaged, and participate with a team.

Positive attitude and willingness to learn and follow directions.

Good attendance and ability to be at work on-time.

Strong attention to detail and quality minded.

Ability to retain information for daily responsibilities.

Ability to use various hand tools and power tools.

Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to work overtime as needed.

Communicate effectively.

Maintain a clean and organized workplace.

Ability to repetitively get in and out of vehicles and occasionally lift 50 lbs.

Understanding of the Metric System and basic math skills.

Candidates with some of the following will be considered:

Strong knowledge of automotive systems and the ability to troubleshoot problems.

Automotive factory experience or previous automotive dealership experience.

OEM experience is preferred.

ASE certifications.

Experience operating shop equipment such as A/C, coolant, and vehicle alignment machines.

Tech School /Trade or Vocational school.

General measurement proficiency including use of micrometers, calipers, bore, tip and height gages.

Engine, transmission, and Hybrid vehicle experience.

Qualifications:

Entry Level candidates with Vocational Schooling encouraged to apply.

Vocational certificate or related associate degree or 4 years related hands on vehicle experience may be applied for jobs at the higher side of the range.

General Technician / Mechanic

Under direct supervision, performs daily tasks as assigned.

Conducts routine tests used to support engineering efforts.

Use mechanical and fabrication tools properly.

Learn standard test modes in area of responsibility and can demonstrate proper use consistently.

Minor or light fabrication ability.

Can change vehicle parts & assemblies.

Receives direct supervision on tasks and daily activities.

Can work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications:

Entry Level candidates with hands-on aptitude are encouraged to apply.

Vocational certificate or related associate degree or 4 years related hands on vehicle experience may be applied for jobs at the higher side of the range.

Assembly Technician

This position will assist the assembly team in building vehicles by design specifications and warehouses with shipping and receiving.

Apply the correct parts, modifying parts to meet spec, building to a Catia V5 model, disassembly, repair and reassembly.

Assist in maintenance of vehicles and other general service shop duties as requested by group leader and area leaders.

Skill & Experience Requirements:

Knowledge in ATV/MUV/Auto vehicle assembly.

Proficient in vehicle assembly and computer literacy with ability to quickly learn OEM systems.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to react quickly to unplanned events to return environment to normal status.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, raise questions to ensure understanding of issues and address issues with minimal oversight.
