Job title- Audit Liaison
Location: Harrisburg, PA-17120 (Hybrid)
Duration: 4 months
 
Position Summary
We are seeking an Audit Liaison to support the Enterprise Information Security Office (EISO) and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) function. This position will provide technical audit and compliance support, coordinate internal and external IT audit activities, evaluate information technology controls, identify compliance gaps, and support remediation efforts.
 
Requirements
  • Experience in IT auditing, cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of IT controls, internal controls, and compliance practices.
  • Experience evaluating IT and security controls against established standards and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), NIST SP 800-53, and ISO 27001.
  • Experience reviewing technical documentation, audit evidence, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to identify control deficiencies, compliance gaps, and organizational risks.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple audits, findings, and remediation activities simultaneously.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, cloud technologies, and security controls.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and support internal and external IT audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Review technical evidence and documentation for compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and security standards.
  • Evaluate information security and technology controls against NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, and organizational security policies.
  • Identify and document control deficiencies, audit findings, and compliance gaps.
  • Recommend corrective actions to reduce organizational risk.
  • Assist business and technical teams with preparing audit responses and gathering supporting evidence.
  • Track audit findings, corrective actions, and remediation activities.
  • Validate completed remediation efforts and report remediation status and residual risk to management.
  • Support automated workflows for audit management, compliance tracking, and evidence collection.
  • Develop dashboards, metrics, and executive reports related to audit trends and compliance posture.
  • Conduct risk-based assessments to prioritize audit activities and evaluate control effectiveness.
  • Assist in developing audit procedures, compliance documentation, metrics, and management reports.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to GRC, risk management, compliance, and internal controls.
Preferred Skills
  • CISA, CRISC, CISM, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience supporting IT audits, regulatory examinations, or compliance assessments.
  • Experience with GRC, audit management, risk management, or compliance tools.
  • Experience with audit evidence collection and remediation tracking.
  • Experience developing compliance dashboards, metrics, and executive reports.
  • Experience creating or maintaining automated workflows for audit and compliance processes.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity and regulatory compliance requirements in enterprise or government environments.
  • Experience working with cloud technologies and information security controls.
