Description
This is a hybrid contract position in the financial services industry.
The role involves ensuring the availability and reliability of production applications, with a focus on compliance.
Candidates should be experienced in generic technologies, scripting, and possess strong problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
Resolve user and batch job issues and manage critical applications to prevent business impact.
Create and update support documentation and initiate incident management processes.
Communicate regularly and generate reports for stakeholders.
Investigate root causes and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate disaster recovery tests and ensure timely deliverables.

Qualifications
Experience with monitoring tools and scripting.
Proficiency in office applications and database management.
Hands-on experience with operating systems and job scheduling tools.
Knowledge of data processing and IT service management concepts.
Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
