Role: CJA Architect
Location: Remote
Role Summary
A Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) Architect owns the end-to-end analytics architecture for the Business–AXP integration program. This role translates cross-channel engagement data — including exposure events, AJO journey outcomes, and AEP behavioral signals — into actionable, governed analytics solutions that power attribution, experimentation, journey performance reporting, and Business insights.
Key Responsibilities
• Define the CJA reference architecture: connections, data views, calculated metrics, and reporting layer design across all channels
• Design the data integration strategy to bring AEP event streams, AJO journey data, RT-CDP profile attributes, and exposure events (exhaust) into CJA connections
• Architect cross-channel attribution models to measure the effectiveness of recommendations across Email, SMS, Push, In-App, Web, Direct Mail, and Call Center
• Design experimentation and A/B test reporting frameworks within CJA to support AJO and optimization loops
• Lead the journey performance and insights reporting layer: how AJO journey KPIs, audience evaluation results, action performance surface in CJA dashboards
• Establish CJA governance standards: dataset schemas (XDM alignment), data view configuration, metric definitions, and access controls
• Partner with the AXP Architect and Data Architect to ensure the exhaust/exposure event schema is CJA-compatible
• Guide CJA Engineers on report building, data view configuration, and derived field design
• Translate Business reporting requirements from marketing and analytics stakeholders into CJA solution designs
• Support integration with tag management and reporting pipelines for end-to-end data lineage
Core Skills
• Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) – connections, data views, workspace reporting, attribution
• AEP – XDM schema design, dataset management, event stream consumption
• Cross-channel attribution modeling and experimentation frameworks

• SQL, Analytics APIs, Adobe Launch / Web SDK for data collection
• Strong Business partnering and requirements translation skills
Typical Experience
• 8–12+ years in digital analytics, data architecture, or MarTech
• Architect-level experience with CJA and/or Adobe Analytics / AA → CJA migrations
• Hands-on experience with AEP data model and XDM alignment for analytics use cases
• Adobe certification preferred (CJA or Analytics)
