What you'll do:

The Senior Production Supervisor is responsible for driving operational excellence, leadership development and performance consistency across a multi-shift manufacturing operation at ARMOR-IIMAK's Hebron, KY facility. This role provides direct leadership, coaching and support to shift supervisors while ensuring alignment and execution of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC) objectives.

  • Reinforce safety expectations and accountability across shifts
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Lead or work with Safety leader on incident follow-up and corrective action implementation
  • Promote proactive safety engagement and observation
  • Drive reduction of discrepancies, scrap and rework
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures
  • Monitor trends and implement corrective action plans
  • Support cost containment through execution discipline
  • Provide daily operational oversight across all production shifts
  • Ensure consistent execution of production plans and attainment targets
  • Monitor and drive performance against Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost KPI's
  • Coordinate labor allocation to optimize staffing efficiency
  • Lead shift performance reviews and escalation management
  • Standardize communication between shifts
  • Lead and standardize onboarding and training execution for all new production employees
  • Ensure new hires are trained consistently across all shifts using approved training standards and work instructions
  • Partner with supervisors to meet training deadlines
  • Reduce early-stage quality defects and safety risks through effective oversight
  • Support development of standardized work and training materials updates and improvements
  • Work with Plant Manager and Continuous Improvement Engineer on execution of continuous improvement initiatives
  • Who you are:

  • You have experience in Operational Leadership with an emphasis on Training
  • You are comfortable promoting data driven decision making at the supervisory level
  • You are a good communicator both verbally and in writing
  • You have previous experience managing direct reports
  • What you have:

  • 3-5 years in a Supervisory capacity in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Degree in applicable field preferred
  • Continuous Improvement mindset
  • Flexibility to work an altered schedule as needed to accommodate business needs
  • Team player and willing to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills
