Test Lead - Manual Testing

Introduction

The Test Lead - Manual Testing position is a key role within our team that requires a candidate with a strong background in software testing and quality assurance leadership. As a Test Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing manual testing activities, coordinating with developers and stakeholders, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans, test strategies, and test cases for manual testing.
• Execute test cases and document test results to ensure thorough test coverage.
• Lead defect management and triage processes, including root cause analysis.
• Coordinate testing activities across different testing phases such as functional, regression, integration, system, end-to-end, and UAT testing.
• Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to prioritize testing efforts and communicate test results.
• Provide leadership and guidance to QA team members to ensure successful testing outcomes.
• Implement and improve quality assurance processes and procedures to enhance overall testing efficiency.

Requirements

Required Skills

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software testing with a focus on manual testing.
• Strong expertise in test planning, test execution, and test documentation.
• Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Experience in leading QA teams and coordinating testing activities across releases.
• Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and test reporting.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications in software testing or quality assurance.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of performance testing and security testing concepts.
