SAP SAC Consultant
We''re looking for an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Consultant for an exciting consulting opportunity. If you''ve spent years hands-on with SAC planning models, data actions, and dashboard creation — and love solving complex problems with elegant solutions — this role was built for you.
🎯 What You''ll Be Doing
• Building and configuring SAC Planning Models — dimensions, measures, versions, and account structures.
• Designing and implementing Data Actions and Multi Actions, including performance optimisation and automated planning sequences.
• Writing JavaScript to bring analytic applications to life with dynamic logic, custom calculations, and seamless user experiences.
• Implementing Custom Currency Conversion within SAC planning models.
• Connecting SAC to SAP BW, S/4HANA, and other source systems via live and import connections.
• Managing data transfers between SAC models and keeping import jobs running smoothly.
• Creating Stories, Dashboards, and Input Forms that business users actually enjoy using.
• Setting up Roles, Teams, and Data Access Controls (DAC) to keep data secure and governed.
• Configuring data locking/unlocking, change tracking, and SAC Calendar workflows for end-to-end planning cycles.
• Monitoring jobs, troubleshooting issues, and continuously improving solution performance.
✅ What We''re Looking For
• 3–7 years of hands-on SAP Analytics Cloud experience across planning and analytics.
• Proficient in Data Actions — formulas, allocations, cross-model copies, currency conversion, and performance tuning.
• Strong JavaScript skills with real SAC scripting experience.
• Solid understanding of SAC security: Roles, Teams, and DAC dimensions.
• Experience with SAP BW and S/4HANA connectivity and import job configuration.
• Confident managing SAC Calendar workflows and scheduled task setup.
• A good grasp of financial planning concepts — budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
⭐ Bonus Points If You Have
• A background in Excel, SQL, or ETL tools.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA, CDS Views, or BW/4HANA modelling.
• An SAP Certified Application Associate – SAC certification.
