Business Analyst

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 months

Payrate: $40.00/hr - $46.18/hr

Role Overview

This position is for a mid-level Business Analyst responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering and documenting requirements, and supporting the delivery of business and technology solutions. The role involves working with moderate independence to manage stakeholder relationships and may include leading smaller projects or initiatives. This position has a hybrid schedule requirement of a minimum of three days per week onsite.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement, creating reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
  • Evaluate business processes, identify inefficiencies, recommend solutions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead or support mid-sized projects, assisting with project planning, tracking, and delivery coordination.
  • Communicate with business and technical teams to validate requirements and facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet acceptance criteria and business goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of processes, systems, and requirements, and track project metrics to report on performance.
Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or a related field is required.

Experience: Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of experience in business analysis or related roles.

Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in data analysis, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience with business process modeling and documentation.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Excel, SQL, and Power BI or Tableau.
  • Experience with Agile tools like Jira and Confluence or similar applications.
