We are seeking an experienced Windows Server Engineer to support a long-term engagement with a major government contractor. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise endpoint management solutions using Microsoft Intune and SCCM.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with modern endpoint management, device provisioning, security compliance, and application deployment within Microsoft environments. This position will also work closely with infrastructure and security teams to support secure device management, OS deployment, and endpoint protection strategies. Previous U.S. DoD Government Contract experience required

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Microsoft Intune-based endpoint management solutions aligned with enterprise security and compliance standards.
• Package, deploy, and maintain applications using Microsoft Intune, focusing on automation and user experience.
• Create and manage Intune policies for device compliance, security configurations, and application deployment.
• Integrate Intune with Microsoft 365 services, including Defender for Endpoint, Conditional Access, and Autopilot.
• Design and deploy Windows 10 and Windows 11 provisioning workflows using Intune, Autopilot, and ESP.
• Configure and manage Windows Update for Business (WUfB) policies.
• Maintain and improve Windows deployment images and provisioning strategies.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to transition legacy Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to Intune equivalents.
• Work with Active Directory and SCCM teams to ensure platform readiness and infrastructure alignment.
• Implement endpoint security best practices including encryption, endpoint protection, and data loss prevention.

Must Have Skills:

• IAT Level II Certification or higher (Security+ or CISSP)
• Experience designing and implementing Microsoft Intune endpoint management solutions
• Experience migrating users and devices to Intune
• Experience packaging and deploying applications using Intune
• Strong experience writing and troubleshooting PowerShell scripts
• Experience working with Windows 10 and Windows 11 deployment workflows

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with SCCM Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
• Experience integrating Intune with Microsoft 365 security tools
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale endpoint environments
