Senior FS 75 Java Spring Boot Rest API

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior FS 75 Java Spring Boot Rest API in Westlake, TX.

Duties Include:
* Perform object-oriented analysis and design using Object Modeling and Sequence Diagrams
* Develop code in Java using spring, spring batch, spring rest, Spring boot including debugging existing code and designing and executing unit tests
* Write PostgreSQL queries and functions in a complex relational database environment
* Develop containerized, cloud native applications
* Create, update and maintain technical documentation for software-based projects and products
* Update and track tasks in Jira
* Interact effectively with business partners to understand business requirements and assist in creation of technical requirements, including crafting effective technical solutions to business problems
* Interact optimally with systems partners to ensure that the full technology solution is seamlessly implemented

REQUIREMENTS:
* B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience; Advanced degree in Computer Science preferred
* 10+ years of professional software development experience
* Experience establishing technical architectures and best practices
* Experience leading initiatives across multiple teams
* Experience with TypeScript, Angular framework (10-15%)
* Experience with Java Spring Boot and Spring Cloud framework (70%)
* REST API required
* Experience with databases and SQL; Candidate should be able to query, performance tune and have a general understanding
* Experience with test automation frameworks, TDD, BDD, ATDD, Spack testing (Candidates should be able to explain the full suite of testing, end to end and open to participating in testing)
* Experience with AWS services (Azure candidate will be considered but AWS is highly preferred)
* Understanding and experience working with CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins
* Kubernetes, Kafka clusters
* Experience using source control and pull requests for collaborative development in code repository tools such as GitHub is preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
