The Work
We are looking for a talented and motivated
Lead Software Engineer to join our growing
integrated team working on state of the art
radar systems and electronic warfare technology.
As a Software Engineer Lead, you will have the
opportunity to work on exciting projects,
collaborate with a diverse and talented group of
individuals, and contribute to the development of
innovative solutions.
In this role you will:
Collaborate with other engineering disciplines
and program personnel.
Participate in cross-functional Six Sigma-style
product or process improvement meetings.
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and
tools.
Be flexible, motivated, dedicated, detail-focused, team-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking.
Participate in all phases of the development
lifecycle, including design, coding, and testing.
Use RMS engineering processes and
procedures while performing your respective
software engineering and verification activities.
Collaborate with teammates across physical
sites and lead junior engineers.
This position requires a government security
clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree program from an accredited
college in a Computer Science, Computer
Engineering or related discipline with software
development experience with minimum of 9
years experience
C++ Software development skills
Experience in debugging, unit testing, and
integration testing
Experience leading a software development team
Experience with formal testing, verification,
and validation
Experience mentoring software engineers in a
team setting
Professional experience with Agile Principles,
CI/CD Methodologies' and Agile configuration
Management tools (Git, JIRA, Confluence)
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD
security clearance at the SECRET level. U.S.
Citizenship is required.
Desired skills
Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software
Engineering, or Electrical and Computer
Engineering
Experience with unit testing frameworks (ex:
Google Test) and Static/Dynamic Code Analysis
tools
Linux development
Experience with OOA/OOD design and
implementation
Familiarity with Agile development process
Experience with DevOps tools and principles
such as GitLab, Containerization
(Docker), CI/CD, Microservices (Kubernetes)
Experience with threading/concurrency
Real Time Embedded SW Engineering skills
Willingness/interest in working with and
integrating the software with the hardware
Experience with digital signal processing
and/or radar tracking algorithms
Experience with Software Modeling (UML) and
architecture
Understanding and application of Design
Patterns
Experience with Code Optimization
Experience with Automated Test tools and
Techniques, Static Code Analysis
Experience with GPU/FPGA based architectures
and languages (ex: CUDA)
Experience with BOEs and Proposals

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
