The Optum Serve Assoc. IAM Provisioning Analyst is responsible for provisioning, modifying, and deprovisioning user access across enterprise systems by fulfilling access requests and related identity platforms while ensuring security, compliance, and service level expectations are met. Additional responsibilities include:
Responsibilities
- Execute standard user access provisioning, modifications, and deprovisioning based on approved requests and documented procedures
- Actively manage tickets and shared mailboxes, prevent access request backlogs, and assist with access requests submitted through ServiceNow, SECURE, or other enterprise request platforms.
- Process access requests through approved IAM platforms (e.g., Sailpoint, EntraID)
- Maintain updating Employee IDs in AD
- Escalate nonstandard, highrisk, or unclear access requests to IAM team members or other IT teams
- Support periodic access reviews and recertification campaigns, including remediation activities as assigned
- Follow security best practices, including provisioning “Least Privilege”, secure password sharing SOPs and securely identifying end users at the start of any interaction.
Job Qualifications
Required
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- 1+ years of demonstrated ability to provision, modify, and deprovision user and group access across multiple Active Directory domains while adhering to domainspecific policies, security controls, and documented IAM procedures
- 1+ years of experience troubleshooting hardware and software access issues

- Do you understand that, if you are offered this position, you will be required to provide extensive personal information to obtain and maintain a suitability or determination of eligibility for a Confidential/Secret or Top Secret security clearance as a condition of your employment?
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of experience with IAM Platforms
- Ability to work independently and with IT or cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document work, explain technical information to nontechnical stakeholders, and collaborate effectively with team members and business partners.
- ITIL certification
Conditions
This position will support Optum Serve’s performance of a United States (U.S.) Government contract and will require the successful applicant to access and/or process Confidential Unclassified Information (CUI, such as Personally Identifiable Information [PII]/Protected Health Information [PHI]) from or contained in a U.S. Government IT system.
To fulfill the data and IT system access requirements for this position, the successful applicant will be required to successfully complete a Trustworthy Determination, which will require the successful applicant to: 1) 2) pass a National Agency Check with law enforcement in order to obtain the access privileges required by the position and 3) pass a Credit Check in order to obtain the access privileges required by the position.
