Join Torch Technologies, a forefront innovator in advanced technology solutions, as an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2026. This internship is an excellent opportunity for engineering students who are eager to apply their academic knowledge. Interns will work under the mentorship of experienced professionals and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technological solutions supporting government and defense customers.

During this internship, you will have the opportunity to:

• Gain hands-on experience in electrical engineering
• Support the PARCS, BWXT, and IRAD efforts

Duration and Location

• Duration: 12-week summer internship (May 13, 2026 - August 7, 2026)
• Location: Huntsville, Alabama
• Schedule: Full-time

During your internship, you may:

• Assist with technical tasks related to electrical engineering
• Provide support including Nuclear Transportation of Small Mobile Reactors, Over the Road Test Articles, Nuclear Sensors and Instrumentation
• Provide support in Test and Evaluation as it pertains to Nuclear Transportation, Nuclear Instrumentation, and Site Layout for Nuclear Power Systems
• Assist in Programmatic Documentation for Electrical Engineering and Nuclear Power Systems

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
• Basic understanding of Nuclear Power Systems
• General knowledge of machinery- lathe, welding, bandsaw, milling machine wiring, circuitry, etc.

• U.S. Citizen
• At least 18 years old
• Actively enrolled as an undergraduate student at an accredited educational institution
• In good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Ability to commit to a full-time schedule for the duration of the internship
