Hardware Design Engineer (PCIe-based OCP board design)

Role Summary

 

We are looking for a Hardware Design Engineer with strong experience in PCIe-based OCP board design, focused on Ethernet NICs or Storage Controllers, for high-performance data center platforms.

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Design and develop PCIe-based OCP accelerator/NIC/storage boards

 

Schematic design, component selection, and board bring-up

 

High-speed design for PCIe, Ethernet, DDR, power, and clocks

 

Work with SI/PI teams for signal and power integrity analysis

 

Debug hardware issues during bring-up and validation

 

Collaborate with firmware, validation, and system teams

 

 

 

Required Skills:

 

Strong experience in PCIe board-level hardware design

 

Hands-on experience with Ethernet NICs or Storage Controller hardware

 

Knowledge of OCP form factors and specifications (Open Compute Project)

 

High-speed interfaces: PCIe Gen4/Gen5, Ethernet (25G/50G/100G)

 

Schematic/layout tools and board bring-up (JTAG, scopes, analyzers)

 

Nice to Have

 

Experience with data center NICs or NVMe storage

 

Signal integrity, power integrity, and compliance testing experience
