Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Certified Scrum Master to join our team in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will act as a Servant Leader, facilitating 2-3 Agile teams and driving continuous improvement in a collaborative environment.

Position Logistics

Location: Richmond, VA, 23219
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)
Interview Process: Remote or In-Person options available

What You'll Do

Facilitate Agile Teams: Lead Scrum and Kanban ceremonies (stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint planning, etc.).
Remove Impediments: Proactively identify and resolve blockers to keep teams moving.
Coach & Collaborate: Mentor teams on Agile best practices, backlog health, and high-quality user stories.
Drive Results: Manage team performance metrics and communicate progress to stakeholders.
Bridge the Gap: Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical departments.

Key Requirements

Certification: Certified Scrum Master (Required).
Experience: 4+ years in Scrum Master or Business Analyst roles; strong understanding of SDLC.
Agile Expertise: Proven experience with Agile methodologies and values.
Scaled Agile: Experience or certification in SAFe is a big plus.
Soft Skills: Strong negotiator, problem-solver, and excellent interpersonal skills to work with diverse personality types.
