Senior Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Deerfield Beach, FL that is seeking a Senior Project Manager.

Responsibilities:
* Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
* The Senior Project Manager will define project tasks and resource requirements
* Develop full-scale project plans
* Establish and coordinate project teams
* Plan and schedule project timelines
* Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning
* Efficiently identify project issues and develop issue resolution action plans
* Track project deliverables using appropriate tools and adhering to project methodology
* Direct and oversee project team and manage conflicts within group
* Provide guidance and direction to external vendors as applicable
* Ensure quality assurance
* Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
* As a Senior Project Manager, you will develop and present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
* Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project goals

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or related field required
* Certified Scrum Master or equivalent
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
* 5+ years of experience in working on projects/Scrum teams
* Advanced knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
* Familiar with SDLC concepts
* Demonstrate leadership by leading the planning and implementation of a project
* Demonstrate strong organizational, presentation and communication skills
* Effective written and oral communication skills
* Good critical thinking and decision-making skills
* Good problem solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
* Excellent servant leadership and change leadership skills
* Excellent planning and coordination skills
* Comfortable dealing with ambiguity
* Demonstrate emotional intelligence
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project, and Azure DevOps
* Must possess a strong presence, polish, and exude confidence
* Ability to work onsite at least 3 days/week in Deerfield Beach, FL

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
