Summary

Aviation Technology Associates (AVTECH Global) is looking for an Aircraft Line Support Engineer (ESC, AOG).

Position Purpose:

Liaison engineering supporting aircraft line maintenance operations.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:
  • Providing technical dispositions (via Engineering Authorizations) and guidance for aircraft issues that exceed published limits for structural damage including sheet metal and composite repairs. This often includes performing a structural analysis.
  • Providing work deviation authorization, interpretation of service documents & Engineering Orders.
  • Providing options for repairing versus replacing a part to minimize financial impact.
  • Providing aircraft system trouble shooting assistance to Line Maintenance.
  • Attending daily production meeting and pre-induction meeting to ensure timely support
  • Coordinating events/issues with Engineering Fleet Groups for additional action, troubleshooting and follow-up.
  • Monitoring trends and recurring discrepancies requiring corrective action. Developing Typical Repairs and manual supplement to eliminate repetitive BA requests.

As an ideal candidate to join the AVTECH team, you will meet the following:

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • BS Degree (or higher) in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering
  • Two plus (2+) years in specific technical discipline

Required Unique Skills:
  • Ability to perform structural analysis to substantiate repairs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated, conscientious and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of FARs, FAA policies, and vendor manual (AMM, IPC, CMM)
  • Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule to meet internal customer's needs
  • Aircraft/airline/MRO or aviation engineering experience desired

Shift:
  • Typical shift is Tuesday thru the following Monday
  • 10 hours a day (w/additional 5 hours of pay on either end to cover travel)
  • 7 on/7 off rotation (no relocation requirement)
  • Travel costs covered (i.e., flights, hotel, rental car, etc.)

This is a W-2 hourly position starting in March 2026 and lasting thru October 2026. The estimated pay rate is $87.00 per hour.
